The Moon-Horned Bull
Celtic Pendant/Brooch
The Celts believed
in the ‘oneness’ of nature and that nature had the ability to transform
itself on all levels of existence. White
bulls embodied the ancestral gods, and were used
as sacrificial animals in many Celtic rites. The hide of a sacrificial
white bull was used in divination. Celtic culture gave
great importance to the bull, which in its solar aspect was
associated with male energies, horses, stags and swans.
Interlacing knots
symbolizes the binding of the soul to the world and the spiritual progress of
humanity through endless lives in search of the divine source, the sacred
center. They are also a representation of the cosmic loom,
symbolizing the existence of the spirit through time, and space, and
lifetimes.
The Moon-Horned
Bull Celtic Pendant combines the male energy of the bull image with the female
energy of the moon, which is formed by the bull's horns. It is surrounded
by a continuous line Celtic interlacing knotwork border. The Moon-Horned
Bull pendant is a copyrighted limited edition of 150. It measures 1 1/2
